You can always tell when someone is an animal lover and Monica hung the moon. It is wonderful to walk into a laid back absolutely charming place that also caters to dogs and kids! Am spreading the word in Hampton about her. I don't know many people but my cousin is a native and has already decided she will book with Monica. I do not know how anyone could ask for a better "sitter"

Monica was great! She took fantastic care of my fur baby. She even sent pictures and updates about how she was doing the entire vacation. Would highly recommend!

Monica went above and beyond in caring for our 10 year old lab. She was so kind and helpful in dealing with some of our lab's separation anxiety, provided tons of updates and pictures and put this dog mom's mind at ease while out of state on travel. She truly is the kindest and best!

Fun home with fenced yard & walks

Are you looking for an alternative to a dog kennel and wish your dog could have a nice home life while you are away? I live/work in Hampton. I have seven years of veterinary technician experience, fostering experience, and in-home pet-sitting experience. I love taking care of all types of animals - especially dogs :) I will do my best to make your dog feel at home, and be calm & happy! Please read this profile ...

What Monica would like to know about your dog

We humbly ask that male dogs be neutered, not have destructive behavior and that any dog not have any aggressive dispositions or tendencies (around food, children, other dogs). We encourage all owners to bring their pups crate, blanket and toys so that they feel more "at home" with things that smell comforting/familiar to them.

When Monica watches your pet

We love to go for lunchtime and late afternoon walks through our charming, historic neighborhood. We have a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Fort Monroe is not far either and a place we love to walk.

We subscribe to BarkBox and get lots of new toys and treats each month we love to share with our guests :)

And of course...Unlimited belly rubs and hugs.
