Pet care experience
Our goal is to send your dog home happy, tired, and well socialized. My husband Nic and I have both had dogs all our lives and love them dearly. We have wide ranging experience; training puppies, lots of play and exercise, or caring for older dogs that prefer a slower day. Nic spent years working in pit bull rescue, gaining invaluable first hand knowledge of rehabilitation and training. Anxious, nervous, or timid, we are ready to provide a loving, caring, and patient place for your special buddy.

Our Lagotto had a fabulous weekend with Monica & Nic, the experience was everything we could ask for. Great communication (pictures! videos!) and easy to work with. Looking forward to being part if their pack for a long time to come!
Monica and Nic and family are among our favorite families to leave Remy with. We know that she’s in capable hands, and are honestly borderline jealous at how comfortable Remy seems to be while in their care. 😜 We especially liked their method of updates via Instagram, especially since we still received personalized updates via text. Aldo, we know this recent visit overlapped with a personal hardship within their own furry family, and our hearts are still with them. We’re just grateful Remy got to be there to offer her own brand of care during their difficult time. All the best to their family, and we wholeheartedly recommend their service!
Monica, Nic, and their family were so great to our two dogs while we were out of town! They felt right at home and we loved all of the updates of them having a blast with their new friends 😊 thank you so much, they are already looking forward to their next stay!
We have had the greatest worry free boarding with Monica and Nic with our Gracey! (8 month old Newfoundland.) If we could give 10 out of 5 stars we would! We receive photos and videos and absolutely know she is well cared for and given lots of attention. Monica and Nic are very knowledgeable trustworthy and clearly are lovers of all dogs ! Our boarding needs are definitely planned around Monica and Nic's availability. Thank you so much for your genuine love for Gracey. It is very clear from her excitement to get there and not at all phased with us leaving :)

We live in a quiet, peaceful, wooded area. Dogs have unlimited supervised daytime access to our large, fully fenced yard. Our three large dogs are always thrilled to have a new play buddy and will help your dogs settle into the routine comfortably. Your dog would join our family and live as one of the pack. Safety and comfort are our highest priority. With that in mind, here are a few specifics that we want you to know, so that you can make the best decision for you and your pet. Our dog pack is made up of large breeds, so this is not likely a good home for small dogs. Some of our fencing is 4 ft tall. If your dog is a jumper and escape artist, this would not be a safe home for them. We have 3 very dog savvy kids (ages 9, 9 & 11) that consider it their job to show dogs that kids aren’t scary. We've never had an issue between the kids & dogs. We have an indoor/outdoor cat. She doesn’t acknowledge our dogs, nor will she yours. However, if your dog is aggressive or overly excited by cats, we might not be a good fit. Please reach out with cat questions, we’re happy to talk.
A typical day
We spend most of our time outside, weather pending. We frequently take dogs on long walks around our neighborhood, visiting farm animals along the way. We live very close to a large trail network, Paradise Lake Conservation Area, that all dogs love to explore with us. We will toss a ball around for however long a dog wants to play. Dogs love to patrol our chicken coop and watch the hens.

We are both home full time, working complimentary flexible schedules. We make plenty of time for playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling throughout the day. We spend most of our time outdoors and can provide as much stimulation & exercise as your dog needs.
