I have had Great Danes all my life as well as a plethora of other types of animals. I have plenty of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and specific needs. I can follow your detailed instructions to the exact point. I know I wouldn't accept anything less than perfect for my own fur babies and plan to give you the exact level of care I would want for my own pets. I work part-time at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in the Safari Experiences department with the Roar and Snore program, primarily working weekends though can be scheduled during the week as well, with goals of becoming a tour guide. As you can see, animals are my whole life. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask :)

We believe that Monica is overstretched and overcommitted. There were conflicts in her schedule while she was contracted to watch our Boxer Max. Max was only to be left for 2-3 hours alone at home at any time since he is a rescue and working through separation anxiety. Twice during her stay with Max he was left alone for in excess of six hours and at one point she asked a neighbor to watch Max for a time while she had an appointment. We believe Monica sincerely cared for Max but had commitments with her other job that made care for Max compromised.
Monica did a fantastic job taking care of Koa and Luna! We were nervous leaving them for the week as they are large “puppies” but she handled them perfectly. She took them for walks and they were very comfortable with her. She stayed at the house and took care of it as well as the dogs. We would definitely recommend her.
Monica was AMAZING! (Which is an understatement, she was absolutely incredible.) We were so nervous to leave our puppies for so long but Monica made it happen for us and made it easier for us to go on our trip. We even messed up and forgot to book a day and Monica was already prepared to stay yet another night for us. Our girls (4yo German/Dane mix and 2-3yo Visla/Pitty mix) adored Monica and they seemed to feel very comfortable with her. Monica kept the house as it was, kept the puppies full and sent lots of pictures and videos of our doggies to assure us all was going okay. Will definitely use Monica in the future!

I will follow precisely what the owners wishes are while their fur-babies are under my care. I am also comfortable with a wide variety of other animals including small animals, rodents, reptiles, birds, fish tanks, and large animals (horses, goats, etc).

I strive to be as flexible as I can working around my own animals needs and my work schedule. With my incredibly supportive family helping out when needed. The more notice I have the more I can plan around the needs of your pets. I primarily work weekends but can be busier around the peak seasons (spring and summer primarily), however I am dedicated to work around that time frame. Their needs will always come first and I will do anything I can to accommodate.
