I work from home which means I’m in contact with your pup all day. Our kids are out of school at 3pm which means more attention and love for your pet! I've always had a dog and cat growing up, and into my college years and beyond. It’s always hard to reach that point in life when you close a chapter, but move into another chapter.. We have 2 rescues, Lena, Dutch Shepherd mix is 3.5 years old and a Golden Retriever, Inca, is 1.5 years old. We decided this was a perfect opportunity to adopt when I started working from home. Our 10 yr old and 8 yr old have had many experiences with many breeds over the last 6 years with Rover- new dogs and the regulars : ) We have a house with a dog door and fenced yard. Our dog, Lena will bark quite a bit. She needs 5 min to access her situation and then she’s fine ( I think it’s bc she’s been raised during the beginning of the pandemic) . Inca, the retriever is always happy and loves to meet other dogs. We were lucky to keep her as she was in a foster situation. Our daily routine is a 25 min morning walk, 20 min lunch walk and an evening walk with my kids. Being a part of Rover in the past 6 years, has not only be rewarding, but has given me the opportunity to experience all dog personalities and types.
