Pet care experience
I've cared for cats and dogs (1+ years old) in multi-pet households for coworkers and friends during long holidays/vacations. I've walked dogs in all climates 3-4x/day, and I've administered daily oral medication to cats with health conditions and frequent wet food feeding schedules. I've spent time with dogs who experience separation anxiety, and I understand how important it is to make pets feel comfortable and at ease--especially those who have been so used to 24/7 company during COVID.

Monica was fantastic! She watched my pup for a week and a half while I was traveling. She’s a great communicator, follows direction really well and is a wonderful house guest. My pup is a senior and has medications which Monica was able to do no problem. I highly recommend Monica for any pet sitting needs!

I'm not able to board pets in my home, but I'm very attentive to spending time with them in the house. If a pet owner has a backyard where pets are allowed, I always stay outside with them. I always walk dogs on a leash in areas that are not enclosed unless I'm told they are well-behaved off leash (and even then, I like to build a closer relationship with them first!).

Let me know if your dog has certain behaviors like separation anxiety, and how frequently and for how long they need to be taken out, how they react to other people/dogs, whether they get into/eat anything around the house that should be watched closely, and whether they're ok to take off the leash outdoors.
A typical day
I love taking dogs into nature, quiet residential streets and parks where we can escape the city noise and foot traffic of the sidewalks! I also love playing games with them over dry food at meal times.

I work from home, so my flexible schedule allows me to be attentive to pets and provide extra attention during home stays. I'm able to time work/outings around evenly-spaced dog walks.
