In my house I have space for animals, to play and have a good time, as well as being able to go for good walks in the surroundings. I have a very friendly bunny who loves other animals, in case your pet cannot or does not adapt well to him, there would be no problem since my rabbit has a cage and a room for him where he would not have to interact in if not necessary.
