Doggy Daycare Experienced Sitter!

Pet care experience

** WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING JAN 2021!! Can’t wait to see yall soon! Happy Holidays & have a Happy New Year!🥰 ** Do you own a shy dog? An energetic dog? Perhaps a skittish cat, or a new rescue that is working on trusting humans again? Maybe you're looking to establish a trusting relationship with a sitter so that your pets can get comfortable and used to one person because you and your family travel frequently! This may be a long profile description... lol. But I just might be the right sitter for you. I’ve owned dogs nearly my entire life! Right now, my only dog is a 3 y/o German Shepherd, who I brag about like he’s a human child lol shoutout to any members of the #PNWGSDPACK! I used to work part-time at a local doggy daycare. With that being said, I have a lot of experience with dogs (and cats) of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels— at all different stages of life. I can also take care of your dog’s medications and meals if you have specific feeding instructions. I’m a relatively flexible dog walker/sitter. I can do drop-ins, walks and occasional house sitting if my schedule permits it. Because I live super close to the airport, sometimes I can board pets— he/she must be fixed and be okay with other dogs. I require a meeting prior to a board to see if our pets are a good fit. I am a nanny for 3 fun & crazy kiddos in Magnolia and I'm an architecture student at UW. I am a BUSY girl, but I love what I do. Working with animals has been nothing but pure bliss for me. I enjoy every day I get to spend as a sitter/walker, and more importantly the love I get to receive from your pets and love I get to give to them. As someone who worked day in and day out with dogs, I can say that I’m a bit more experienced than the average sitter & I’m familiar with body language & signs of distress, as well as the critical signs. All of which I’ve learned while working at the daycare. I know how to interact and introduce myself to dogs who do not know me well & I have patience for the crazy wild dogs, to the shy & slow to warm dogs. I take extra care in keeping your pet safe, even carrying mace on walks if at any point we are approached by an unfriendly unleashed dog (yes it’s happened before lol and yes I’ve had to break up countless of tussles between dogs at work). With that being said, I’m truly excited to meet your pets and can’t wait to play with them! It’s my goal to love and create bonds with them, as if they were one of my own, and give you peace of mind when you’re not with them! Communication is very important to me, I take and send lots of pictures. I also let pet parents know how their pets behave around me. It makes them feel more comfortable when they know their pets are relaxed and friendly during my visits! From one pet parent to another, I know that our pets are our kids too!! So rest assured that your babies are in great hands! *IMPORTANT NOTES* - Rates are locked in for repeat clients. Whatever the rate was when you first booked me, will be your rate FOREVER! Even if it’s changed on Rover. To my OG clients who booked me when I had none or a few ratings, thank you for giving me a chance when I had no reviews. And thank you for always coming back to me when you need pet care! I am so grateful. 💙 - Although I may have turned off house sitting, I am open to it. Please ask even if a date is not available or a service is “off”. A lot of the times I’m able to work with you. - I am flexible. This goes for care & for rates.. if you have concerns just reach out to me! It never hurts to ask. - I add additional fees depending on whether or not you're outside my service area. This is to cover gas to travel to & from your house. - While COVID-19 is going on, I will not be housesitting for my safety as well as your family’s! When I do drop ins I wear a mask upon entering your home.

Monica was great! Super responsive . Somehow we missed one of the sitting dates and I am not sure how to capture repayment from Rover.com Would’ve so helpful to receive some follow up here as the App is tricky.

Monica never disappoints. We have asked her to check-in on our 2 cats several times. Each time the boys are well cared for and don't seem as bothered by the fact that we've been gone when we get back. I would recommend Monica to anyone who needs their fur babies looked after.

Whiskey is always happy to see Monica! She sends great updates and is always communicative. She also always confirms the doors are locked, which is great peace of mind.

No breed preferences! I’m good with large dogs and super small ones! My only request is that you let me know if your dog is shy around strangers or has dog aggression/kennel aggression. It’s important that I know how to enter the house when you aren’t home for both my safety, and your pet’s safety!
