Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs- I have never been in a house without a dog. I have always had large dogs but I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes! Currently we have three dogs. Two of our dogs are upland hunting dogs and have had professional training. I am a big game hunter and I enjoy being outdoors. I have a special needs dog and I'm comfortable giving meds as well. I will tailor your dog's experience to what fits them best. I will engage them in play time- inside and outside! I will stick to whatever schedule you give me and make sure your dog has the best experience possible. I honestly could not imagine life without animals! They are my kids and get treated like royalty! I will give your dogs the same love I give my own!

Monica is a very "down to earth" person and we liked her right away. She was gentle and kind with our dogs and won the trust of our boarder collie-lab with in2 days!! That was quiet an accomplishment since Penny is extremely shy and afraid of everything and everyone!! She handled giving our epileptic yellow lab his meds with out a problem and Charlie showed his appreciation with kisses as we saw from all the pics she sent us! It was a comfort receiving the updates and pics of our pets every day. We are so grateful and happy to have found her and we will definitely call on her again when we need a pet caregiver.
It has been awesome to have Monica dog sit and house sit for us. Our dog, Maggie, is older and needs insulin shots twice a day, but that was no problem for her. It has been a problem in the past to get sitters willing to give shots- so we are glad we found her.

If I am dog sitting or providing drop-in services, I will treat your pets as my own and follow any schedule or routines that you provide me with. I will give them the same attention and love as if they were my own.

A typical day
We live in a secluded, wooded area and the dogs will go on walks in the woods or at middle creek. We also live along a quiet road that is safe to take walks on. We will play fetch outside and take naps on the sofa!

Availability
I am a teacher so during the school year, I can provide morning, late afternoon and evening care. Because dogs have always been a part of my life, I make them my first priority. I make sure they have plenty of attention and exercise every day. On the weekends, they get plenty of attention since I am home more.
