Pet care experience
I have cared for my own dogs for ten years and have watched all of my friends dogs for up to extended periods of time. I volunteered with Animal Pad (San Diego) and went to a shelter in Ensenada, Mexico to rescue dogs and feed/bathe/train them.

Monica was great! She sent me lots of pictures and my dog seemed really happy with her. She played a lot with him (fetch, walks, water), and I think he had a great time. She also had him when he was super scared of fireworks and she kept me posted, was really sweet to Blue and ensured me he was getting lots of hugs and attention while he was scared. Will definitely use agai .
Monica is a very trusting and caring person. She has taken care of our beloved corgi, Butter, many times. Butter's lights up when he sees her. She cares for your pet as her own and provided timely updates and pictures.

Our backyard is fenced and open for running around. We have lots of space indoors for the dogs to be comfortable. Our dog is crate trained but also good outside her crate. I like to stay active with the dogs on walks/runs and give them ample play time. We keep regular feeding schedules and love to snuggle up at the end of the day (or whenever, really!).

A typical day
We love walks in our neighborhood and regular visits to our local dog park, where there are two areas for small and large dogs respectively. Our dog Nellie is quite active so she loves to run around in the backyard and play with other dogs if they are willing to tussle with her. We enjoy exploring new parts of Savannah or just going to our tried and true spots when the weather holds up- hiking at Skidaway Island State Park or walks around Forsyth Park downtown.

Availability
I work full-time remotely and have the ability to take breaks. I don’t work traditional 9-5 so I have flexibility in timing. We love long walks, trips to the dog park and my dog loves to play with others too.
