Pet care experience
I have been around dogs most of my life. My family got our first dog, Spirit (a shetland sheepdog), when I was six years old. Currently, my family owns two dogs, Kona and Stella, and they are a big part of my life. A few years ago I started volunteering at an animal shelter close to where I use to live. I walked and played with many different types of dogs while volunteering there and I genuinely enjoyed getting to know each of the dog personalities. Since July 2016, I have volunteered at the Napa County Animal Shelter where I walked and socialized the little and big dogs. I have experience walking and caring for many types of dogs at the animal shelter: from chihuahuas to pitbulls to huskies.

I love being around any type of dog, no matter the size, breed, or age. I have experience caring for my senior dog, Stella (spaniel/chihuahua mix) and my high energy, tripod, Australian cattle dog mix named Kona. However, I request that owners disclose any information about their pets that will ensure I can take care of your dog to the best of my ability. For example, please let me know your dog's walking habits or if they have any behavioral issues.
A typical day
When a dog is in my care, I ensure they are well cared for. Since I have grown up with dogs, I realize the importance of exercising and entertaining a dog. Hikes, walks, and doggy games are some of the activities your pooch and I will do together.
