I have owned pets since I was a little girl and there are few things in life that make me happier than to see an animal being loved and cared for. I have lived in several cities and towns, and in most places, I have been able to rescue or foster, and find forever homes for animals in need. I also have a passion for traveling so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy enough who will care for your pet the way you do when you are away from home. I’m experienced in taking care of small, medium and large dogs, cats and birds. I enjoy the outdoors and exploring nature with dogs (and occasionally with cats). My husband and I currently have an easy-going Catahoula Mix dog and we are trying to befriend a feral cat at this point also. We don't have any children at home and have a spare room that can provide a quiet place if your cat or dog needs some private space during their time with us. We live in an apartment complex with several dog walking areas and a small fenced dog park, plus there is a large public park within walking distance where I’ll enjoy taking your dog. I will be happy to visit your pet at your home if that is your preference and will ensure that they get that "middle" of-the-day love, exercise and fun that is so necessary to keep them happy and healthy. I am a registered nurse by trade, but I’m currently on a hiatus and at home full-time, so I’ll have the time to ensure that your pet gets all the personalize love and care that they need.
