Pet care experience
I'm a retired CPA looking for something enjoyable to help keep me busy....I don't like to be idle! I have always had multiple pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, etc) and LOVE them all! I've also helped my daughter raise and train a black lab/golden mix for the Canine Companions for Independence organization, and fostered many litters of kittens for the Bloomiongdale Animal Shelter Society. I am comfortable administering medication (our 15 year old Shitzu needs them twice per day). I am looking to provide drop- in visits and walks but no boarding at this time. I'm super reliable, mature (55), energetic, responsible, caring, and professional. Our fur babies are family and they deserve the best care available! Let's meet and see how I can help you!

Monica is amazing. She walked, played and gave treats to my two dogs and even sent pictures of them happy and tails wagging. She is extremely experienced and I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in her care. Loved her and will use her services again.

I would like to know what areas your dog prefers not be touched (i.e. my dog doesn't care for the top of his head to be petted), and would like to know what commands your dog knows.
A typical day
I've taught my dog many tricks and would be happy to teach yours as well, or practice the ones he/she already knows. We will walk wherever it's safe and be sure to hit plenty of grassy areas and fire hydrants! If your dog likes to catch/fetch, we will do that too!
