If booking with us, please make sure your account is filled out with current information and photos. Our Masun and Dixsun are spoiled rotten with love and starving for canine companions. They are original Pekingese. Masun is, 10lb, standard sized Registered Pekingese. He is unaltered and extremely well-behaved. Dixsun is 8lbs, miniature spayed female They both get along great with other dogs and people. Since I work from home as an SEO Copywriter, Web Designer, Marketing and Business Consultant, I thought it would be a good idea to day or board other toy sized pups (Pups or Adults). This way, Masun, and Dixsun can make new friends and be entertained while I am writing or designing. Our Pad. We live a nice large 2b apt. A block away from River Walk of the Black Warrior River and an old part of Northport. Our Apt complex is the most sought after. It is large and as beautifully kept lawns. It is pet-friendly, and many neighbors have dogs of all sizes. When we are outside, we are on a leash. We have a private dog park as well. Masun and Dixsun love the little park and so do their little friends. It's perfect for us to play in without being leashed. Day to Day Routine. Our day usually consists of going out to our private dog park at our apartment complex. It's 150 steps outside our door. We come back in and get cleaned up. Masun and Dixsun are well taken care of grooming wise. If your pup stays with us, expect them to be spoiled and pampered too! I brush, clip mats, trim other areas when necessary, bathe, blow-dry, clip nails, trim whiskers, a little bit of oral toothpaste, wipe down, etc. When it is rainy and cold, the wee pads just have to do, and playtime happens. We have breakfast. I do cook clean for Masun and Dixsun and will for yours too! Just bring or have their food delivered. For example, veggies, eggs, chicken, hamburger, Dr. Haverty veg to bowl, supplements, etc. Spoiled. Absolutely. We take an outside poddy and play break about every two hours. During Summer, it's sometimes too hot out, so wee pads are available, depends on the day. We have access to the yard two steps our patio. Lunch is around Noon; Dinner is around 6 pm. If your pups are staying over, we go out several times in the evening and especially before bed. We usually get up and go outside around 5:30 am and start the day. I also have designated spots for Wee Pads, just in case, outside isn't an option. Toy Breeds tend to get overheated or colds, and I don't like taking the chance. Also, during the cold season, make sure to pack jackets and clothes. Our home stays around 65-70 degrees year round with lots of fuzzy fleece blankets available at all times. If your pup has special needs, no worries, I will make sure the medicine is given and take extra care with them. Puppies are welcome! We have no ban on pups on couches or the bed. We have foam stairs for them to access the sofas and bed. I, however, can not control the "Flying Dragon Dog" maneuvers. :( (jumping off furniture.) Our Requirements: We will make arrangements for you to come to our home for a meet and greet. We will meet outside in the private dog park on a beautiful day. If it is cold, we will be inside Masun's and Dixsun's pad, all nice and toasty. Your pup will need to be at our location to meet Masun and see if tails wag. It will make you more comfy to know where your baby will be hanging out. We can only have pups or dogs that are no more than 25lbs max. BREEDS/MIXES NOT ALLOWED. Due to our lease agreement, the following kinds/mixes are not allowed: pups included :(. I love all these breeds, they get a bad rap, and it's not fair. But, rules are rules, and we love where we live. Pit Bull, Germain Shepherd, Mastiff, Doberman Pinscher, Presa Canario/Canary Mastiff, Rottweiler, Chow, English Bull Terrier Bulldog, Alaskan Malamute, Catahoula, Siberian Husky, Akita, and any Wolf hybrid. GRUMPY/AGGRESSIVE DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED: Pups need to be "dog and people friendly." No aggressive - food aggressive, dog aggressive, or overly dominate or excessive barking. POTTY TRAINED: The tinkle challenged: It happens, and I will work with them on indoor wee pads and outdoor poddy and territory poddy. Inside, they will need to wear their groovy little wraps or girly briefs. No, worries I change them out and wipe them all up like clockwork. If I need to bathe and blow dry, I will. No stinky puppies. Nope. UNALTERED: In Heat Females. You need to know when she is coming in and out. I can only book an unaltered female if she isn't dropping the kool-aid scent :). I have an unaltered male. Trying to keep them separated would be a nightmare. We may have a conversation about a Stud Contract and Fee. "Half a Peke" puppies are in high demand. We are very strict about Masun's Stud Service. STAYOVERS: Pups come with their Day or overnight bag and Crate. Please include their favorite blanket, bed, toys, wee pads/wraps, clean-up wipes, food, dishes, treats, medicine with clear instructions, grooming supplies, etc. Pups that feel safer with their crates, please bring it. They are coming into a new environment, and they need to have a safety net until they can adjust to the free hugs. They may also need their space, so it would be nice to have. FLEA/HEARTWORM CONTROL: Pups Must Be BUG-FREE. We don't do or share bugs on our babies. No Fleas, Ticks and must be on heartworm care if old enough. UPDATE ON SHOTS: They need to have all their vaccinations or up to date on necessary treatments. DO's and DON'T: A Doggy Do and Don't list. Every dog has their quirks and I want to know what furbaby loves and hates. It will make the day go by easier.
