I have been around dogs since birth, and consider taking care of dogs as more of a privilege than a job. My parents currently have 5 full-sized dogs which I frequently take care of. I have taken each of the dogs to puppy pre-school, intermediate, and advanced classes, as well as assisted in agility training for multiple dogs. My major in undergrad was pre-veterinary medicine for three years, and I spent countless hours shadowing veterinarians throughout high school and college. I am more than comfortable handling large dogs, both on and off leash. I have had all sizes of dogs, ranging from 9 to 100 pounds. I am currently in graduate school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling with only one class most days. My flexible schedule allows me to be available to take care of dogs and cats throughout the week and weekends. I have a Subaru Forester big enough to transport dogs if need be. I currently live in an apartment near plenty of walking trails and parks. I feel comfortable walking and entertaining dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
