I worked as a veterinary technician in small animal, specialty and emergency medicine for over 10 years. I’m now a marine biologist who has extensive times off work. I have one dog of my own at the moment but I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, and snakes. I’ve also worked at a private zoo and ridden horses for much of my life. My dog is kennel trained and sleeps in the bed with me, but I’ll be the type of carer you would like me to be with your pet, so they are treated the same way they are by you. If you want them to have extra treats after dinner, then I’ll do that for them. As long as you let me know what the norm is for them, I’ll make sure to keep things consistent.
