I’m Mona and I am passionate about your pet! I studied ethology (the science of animal behavior), and I have been a certified dog trainer for over 15 years, so I am more than just an animal lover - I’m an animal care professional that you can trust to have the knowledge and experience to take the best care of your dog, cat or other pet. I only care for one client’s animals at a time, so your animals will have my full attention. I know how hard it is to be away from your furry friend so I’ll send lots of photo and text updates so you know what a fun time we’re having and how safe your pet is in my care.

Meeting Mona was a gift from heaven! She took care of my bully so great I didn't have to worry while on my business trip. She was in contact at all times and got lots of pictures. Needed a sitter for the weekend and Mona was gracious enough to accept our doggos. Not only did she stay with my biiiiig boy, (he's over 100 lbs and finding sitting for him is never easy) but she also took care of my 10 month old puppy that happened to be on her "girly friend". She attended both of my dogs great, made sure to communicate with us, and sent us daily pics. Mona is truly a professional and I would recommend her 100% to anyone looking to leave their 4-legged kids with her.

I felt very comfortable with Mona right off the bat. She was great at communicating and checking in to tell me how my babies were doing. I loved receiving pictures while I was away. The dogs had a great time and they were happy.

I don't have any breed or size preferences and love all dogs equally!
A typical day
I love to take dogs for walks and, if approved by the pet parent, go to dog parks and play fetch. When we’re indoors, I play with dogs and cats with fun, low-energy activities like puzzles, chew toys, and other calming enrichment.

Availability
I’m currently able to work remotely for my other job which gives me the flexibility to accommodate my client’s schedules. I use public transportation and live near the CTA Blue Line on the Northwest Side, so travel time and proximity to public transportation will be a factor in whether we can be a match.
