Moms is great! Always sends photos and takes Koa for long walks
My boys had a great time with Mona, who provided plenty of cuddles, walks and playtime. She kept me informed the whole time, with pictures and text updates.
Definitely recommend! Will be using her again. <3
Mona sat for our pup Savannah for 8 days while we were in Europe on an anniversary trip. She was wonderful! She sent us a lot of pictures of Savannah daily, reported how she was eating, how often they went to the local dog park together, and really allowed us to relax while on vacation, feeling secure that Savannah was in great care. When we returned from our trip, our condo was just as we ...
Good Dog Karma - 10+ yrs experience
I’m Mona and I am passionate about your pup! There is an honesty, vulnerability, and total openness to dogs that is so irresistible, so when a dog trusts me to take care of him or her, or even just to show him or her some affection, I am deeply honored and take that responsibility seriously. I'm so thrilled that Rover gives me an opportunity to share my love with dogs and other animals! I ...
What Mona would like to know about your dog
Before a stay, I’d be happy to set up a meet-and-greet on neutral ground, even if that's just the lobby of the apartment building or a park bench down the block from your residence. If it's just a quick walk or the owner prefers otherwise, then I'm fine with doing the meet-and-greet in the client's home. I always enter without a fuss, get low to the ground soon, and respond to the animal's body language and signals about what makes him or her comfortable or uncomfortable
I will communicate with you to make sure I have all the relevant information: vet contact info, what activities your pup enjoys, anything off-limits, any triggers your dog might have, whether she/he liked other dogs and/or humans, where they like to be petted, their favorite toys and treats, and any medical or behavioral issues I should know about.
I don't have any breed preferences, but I have had particularly good results with "bully breed" clients and large dogs. I think it's because I both respect their physical power while not being intimidated by it, and also recognize that in the end they're just dogs who want the same attention, affection, and structure that all dogs want. Of course, I love tiny dogs, too! I make sure small dogs feel confident and independent, walking them instead of carrying them whenever possible, so they know that they may be little but they're mighty, too.
