Mona is great! She truly loves and understands animals. I even learned a thing or two about a healthy diet for my dog from her. I would definitely let my dog stay with her again. I know he's in good hands.
I give Mona 5/5 Stars. She took care of my 2 babies for the weekend and I was able to relax. She card for them as if they were hers. I would definitely recommend her.
We love Mona. She is training us as well as Boomer because we would so spoil him. We are trying to think like Boomer to understand him
Good Dog Karma - 10+ yrs experience
I’m Mona and I am passionate about your pup! There is an honesty, vulnerability, and total openness to dogs that is so irresistible, so when a dog trusts me to take care of him or her, or even just to show him or her some affection, I am deeply honored and take that responsibility seriously. I'm so thrilled that Rover gives me an opportunity to share my love with dogs and other animals! I ...
What Mona would like to know about your dog
Before a stay, I’d be happy to set up a meet-and-greet on neutral ground, even if that's just the lobby of the apartment building or a park bench down the block from your residence. If it's just a quick walk or the owner prefers otherwise, then I'm fine with doing the meet-and-greet in the client's home. I always enter without a fuss, get low to the ground soon, and respond to the animal's body language and signals about what makes him or her comfortable or uncomfortable
I will communicate with you to make sure I have all the relevant information: vet contact info, what activities your pup enjoys, anything off-limits, any triggers your dog might have, whether she/he liked other dogs and/or humans, where they like to be petted, their favorite toys and treats, and any medical or behavioral issues I should know about.
I don't have any breed preferences, but I have had particularly good results with "bully breed" clients and large dogs. I think it's because I both respect their physical power while not being intimidated by it, and also recognize that in the end they're just dogs who want the same attention, affection, and structure that all dogs want. Of course, I love tiny dogs, too! I make sure small dogs feel confident and independent, walking them instead of carrying them whenever possible, so they know that they may be little but they're mighty, too.
