Pet care experience
My name is Mona. I live with a small dog, Sofie ,who is a rescue. I am passionate about giving the best of care to my pets. My brother, James, lives with me and loves animals as much as I do. I have a large fenced-in back yard where my pets are free to come & go. Daily walks is a must. My furniture is covered so sleeping on furniture is ok. Sofie sleeps in my bed-snuggling is our ritual before bedtime. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover since I was a child. I grew up on a farm so had many different kinds of animals. Dogs & cats have always been my favorite. I have owned many breeds of dogs including cocker spaniels, boxers, an Airedale, and several mixed breeds. I am now volunteering for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay working with small puppies that have just been spayed and neutered, setting them up for adoption. About my yard I have a large fenced back yard. I do have a swimming pool but do not leave any of my pets unattended while they are outside. I have some grass and pool decking. There is plenty of room for exercise, ball tossing, etc. I do "pick-ups" everyday, so the yard is aways clean. My experience administering medication Yes, I can give medications. My best "trick" is peanut butter!

Truly, ? I am very grateful to Mona this took care of our fury baby Aussie Quincey like Gold. Is very difficult to trust someone you don't know with your dog and in my case my only 4 leg child so I was very anxious and stressed I would find someone caring, responsible and loving ❤ for him as this was 1st time boarding somewhere. Not only she was available and prompt but she was amazing giving me updates and text every day of Quinceys days while being away. Mona was great providing medication needed to my baby, patience with him, she treated Quincey like her baby ❤. I like that Mona only takes one dog at time which made me more comfortable knowing that she can focus on him instead 3or 5 dogs like other dogsitters. ? So not only she focus on him and treat him with care and love, Quincey really seemed to like her, to the point that he slept with her and Sophie , her little ?. That's was amazing ? bc Quincey doesn't even sleep with us, which show us he felt like more than home and he made him feel like home... I do insist on meeting the owner and dog before agreeing to sit for them. I would want them to meet my dog making sure that they are compatible. My dog is very friendly and normally get along with other dogs. No preferences as to what type of dog other than the smaller ones are preferred. I am flexible as to size of dog. I would want to know all the specifics of the pet - when to feed, how much to feed, how much exercise, etc. Also, phone numbers of owner when away, veterinarian, friend/relative to contact should there be a need.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I walk my dogs in my neighborhood. There are sidewalks in most of the areas. I have two routes that I take to prevent boredom. Your dog will get a walk every evening (or morning, if that is it's custom). I live in a nice quiet residential area so there is little traffic. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep wherever he is accustomed to sleeping. One of my dog's sleeps with me in my bed, the other prefers her bed. I have slipcovers on my couch & chair so sleeping on either is not a problem. Time I'll spend with your dog When I have a sitting job, I try not to schedule any appointments. I may have to go out for an errand but generally I'm home most of the day with my client.
