Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs in a number of capacities. Growing up, my first chores were actually to take care of our Pembroke Welsh Corgi's dinner and walks, when I wasn't at school. Now, my parents—who live in Philly—periodically go on vacation and will have me pet-sit their current dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, named Ruby. Though Corgis and Cavaliers are both on the small side, they have drastically different temperaments. Every dog has his or her own idiosyncrasies. In addition to taking care of my family's dogs, I have also volunteered at animal shelters. While in high school and college, I volunteered at Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), which entailed a lot of cleaning, dog walking and working adoption events. Though this mostly involved dog care, there was a customer service to this role as well. I will be a great dog sitter/walker because my time spent with dogs is blissful. I've always been that way. As a psychology major at Barnard College, Columbia University, I chose my advisor because she happens to be a world-renowned dog psychologist. I took her seminar in my time at Barnard (called Canine Cognition), which significantly contributed to my knowledge about dogs. In terms of hours, I'm flexible. I'm also mobile. I live on the Upper West Side but don't mind traveling. Given my psychology background, I'm as much of a people person as I am a dog person. I have a good response time when it comes to text/email and I'm always happy to climb on the phone. I want to care for your dogs in whatever way I can, but client satisfaction is just as important to me. I'm a resource and I'm committed to that.
Reviews
Molly and Matt did an awesome job caring for my dog Bo. He's a large puppy with lots of energy and he can be a handful. During my trip, Molly continuously sent me updates and photos which was really appreciated. Bo was a happy dog when I picked him up. I would definitely recommend Molly and book her again.
Molly was amazing with our 10 year-old, 50 lb aussie mix Denver. She sent daily updates and photos of his stay. Highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!
Molly is a true dog lover. She’s attentive to all of their needs and will cuddle them to their heart’s content. She likes to take walks with them in all types of weather. I recommend her highly for any work with dogs. She will enjoy it immensely and the dogs will too.

Information Molly T. would like to know about your pet
It's helpful for me to know age, size any unique personality traits andmedical issues of any kind that I should be aware of. No breed preferences. As corny as it sounds, I truly do love all dogs.
A typical day
I live halfway between Central Park and Riverside Park, so I'll be able to take a dog to plenty of open spaces. I'm a very active person (I typically work out 5-6 days a week) so I love getting exercise as much as dogs do. We'll go on long walks, play fetch and hang with other dogs in any number of dog parks (only if it's okay with the owner, of course).
