Dog Approved Petcare Professional

Pet care experience

Are you going out of town? Awesome! But who will take care of your beloved pet/s? Well, that's simple. Me! It can be stressful for pets when their favorite humans must travel, but it does not have to be. I would love to take care of your pet(s) with scheduled feedings, walks, play-time and lots of TLC during overnight petsitting/housesitting reservations as well as check-ins and now dogwalking! I am a professional dog-walker and petsitter(cats and all others welcome, too!) and love dogs of all sizes! I have experience working with both tiny and extra large dogs and understand the special needs of both. I love animals and am very active in the rescue community in Northern Virginia (LDAR foster). Our 15th Foster just found her fur-ever home <3 I also have Pet CPR and First aid training. Let your dog stay in their favorite place, home! Areas served: Burke, Springfield, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Alexandria, Shirlington, Arlington, Lorton, Clifton, McLean, Woodbridge, Kingstowne, (somewhere else?) ...I'll come to you:o) Why I love dog sitting... I have been an animal lover my entire life. I have never lived in a home without fur- family members - and can not imagine it any other way. I take great pride in knowing I am providing the pets within my care exceptional treatment and easing their anxiety, while their favorite people are away. I have very high standards and know what I as a pet-parent would want and enjoy providing this service to others. My Pack... Our current Pack includes a 13 year old rescue Maine Coon named Miko, a 12 year old Pomeranian named Cody, a 2 year old LDAR rescue GSP/Italian Greyhound named Grace and two, three year old Lucky Cat siblings, Abbie and Frankie. Further Animal Experience... As a child, I was a competing equestrian. I studied animal biology and behavior extensively in my Pre- Med undergraduate studies. My studies also led me to became scuba certified to prepare for an expedition in the Bahamas. This time was spent studying coral reefs and sea creatures in the ocean(I love sea creatures, too!) . I love all animals and they've played an integral role in my life. Meds? NO problem! I am experienced administering medications to dogs. I can give oral or topical medications. I also have experience administering insulin to dogs.

This review is long overdue! However, Molly did such a great job with our dog that I had to make sure that I did provide one. This was our first time using Rover and Molly was willing and able to do whatever we needed to ensure we were comfortable with her. She came for a meet and greet ahead of time, followed up with communications subsequent to the meet and greet and when it came time for her to care for our dog we got daily pictures and communications from her. We could not have been more satisfied with Molly's services. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, awesome dog sitter!! Thanks Molly!

Molly is an awesome cat-sitter! We have used several cat sitters, both referred by friends and thru websites, and were NOT happy with the level of service provided. We would come home to dried up plants, hairballs in the hallways, and mail left in the mailbox. It made us wonder whether the sitters actually made daily visits! And honestly, our 2 Birmans are indoor cats, incredibly easy-going and friendly! We just wanted someone honest, responsible, neat, clean, loving, and kind - is that too much to ask? Since we already knew Molly personally, we assumed she would do a great job caring for our cats and home. But Molly went above and beyond. Apparently, they caught some bug and suffered thru MAJOR GI issues. Molly did a wonderful job of caring for and cleaning them (and even the house!!) without complaint! We felt terrible that Molly had to care for sickly cats, but she was a trooper! Even after we got back home, Molly continued to inquire after their well-being - talk about dedication and compassion! When you leave your pets and home in the hands of a stranger, it is disconcerting, but Molly really did an awesome job of visiting and caring for our cats for 2 weeks - even sending us pictures! She also took great care of our home, ensuring no messes (from the cats!), that the plants were watered and packages/mail brought in. With daily messages summarizing the visits, it also gave us peace of mind to know that the cats were provided companionship and TLC. So happy that we found Molly as we wouldn't use anyone else.

Information Molly T. would like to know about your pet

I like all dogs/cats( no preferences). I would like to know about the dog's temperment and anything related to the dog's health that I need to know. I would also like to know the dog's favorite activities so I can plan a great stay for them.

A typical day

Time I'll spend with your dog I will likely spend more time with your dog than we agreed upon; it just happens:o). Since they are my "client," too, their happiness is very important to me. I will follow your pet's routine and add additional playtime, walks, other outdoor activities( hiking- weather permitted), possible jogs/runs, fetch, etc. as well as LOTS of time enjoying TLC. Extra house-sitting services I am happy to take care of other duties related to caring for your home during the stay. Please discuss with me what you would like done and I will make it happen.
