I have experience with dogs and cats, and would love to be a sitter for either. I have been around pets of all kinds for most of my life, and most recently I was a volunteer at the Lawrence (KS) Humane Society where I worked socializing the cats and walking/playing with the dogs at the shelter. It gave me great hands on experience in a professional setting, which paired with my personal experience growing up around dogs, makes me confident in my ability to love your pet while you're away! I am currently a volunteer at a an animal rescue (Animal Rescue Foundation- ARF), where I spend time helping with doggie upkeep (walks, cleaning, socializing) and administering meds when needed. I am happy to interact with your pet in whatever manner is best to keep your furry companion happy and healthy. I love being outside and am an active person, who can keep up with dogs of all sizes and activity levels. I also understand the special care frightened, young, and older pets need, and am willing to meet with you as long as needed before the sitting so you can rest and relax while I am in charge.
