Pet care experience
Hi! My husband and I operate Republic of Paws, a local retail and grooming company. We live in the beautiful, pet-friendly city of Colorado Springs and WE LOVE DOGS! We have fostered for numerous rescues all over the city and have loved the activity and getting to meet new furry friends. We have one pup of our own - Fritz - is a fun-loving standard schnauzers, weighing in at just under 30lb. We also have two human children, Jackson, who is 12 years old and a very gentle dog-lover and Evelyn, who is 8 and an aspiring zoologist. Due to an allergy in the family, we can take only hypoallergenic dogs and currently only accept dogs 35lb and under. For all of the other furry kids, we have lots of references for other great sitters!! Our furry guests will have full run of the house as we are home most of the day. If your dog needs to be crated for comfort or training, just let us know! We keep detailed notes on all feeding and meds and can ensure that your pet's every need will be met and cared for! We are raw feeders ourselves and will happily prepare raw or gently cooked meals as needed.

Molly was amazing! Super responsive, flexible, and friendly. My dog had a great time spending Christmas with her and her family and socializing with her pups. He even got a new toy! I felt so much better knowing Max was having fun and socializing rather than being stuck in a kennel most of the day. I highly recommend Molly and will definitely be boarding with her again!
Molly did an amazing job watching our little mini schnauzer, Rocky! He's high energy and loved playing with the other dogs and kids. Their backyard was perfect for the play. We'd never left 2 yr old Rocky overnight anywhere before, and I was a little worried since he likes to cuddle up and sleep on our bed but it worked out great. We'll use Molly again! Came home happy and tired. Thanks Molly!

Please let us know of any medical or behavioral needs that we need to make accommodations for during booking to allow us to prepare accordingly. Providing an instruction packet is also helpful particularly if your pet has a medication regimen.
A typical day
We love walking, hiking, running, and anything active. Dogs that need the exercise can join the fun, or can take leisurely walks instead. Furry visitors will have “training” sessions with our aspiring dog trainer and zoologist daughter who loves to work with pups on shake, sit and even jumps for the younger pups. Our standard schnauzer loves to play, but for our senior dogs, we also offer the option for isolated care as our home has multiple levels.

In addition to our small business, I teach high school during the week. We offer boarding on weekends only to ensure we can provide lots of attention and care to our furry guests, but offer weekday boarding all summer!
