Pet-Loving Healthcare Professional

Pet care experience

Hi, my name is Molly. I’m an animal lover through and through so walking and taking care of dogs (and cats) is not just a side hobby job, but rather a passion. I grew up with two beautiful Golden Retrievers and have been petsitting on Rover for over 5 years, totaling over 20 years of experience caring for dogs; including feeding, bathing, walking, playing, loving, cleaning up after, administering medication to, and more. I am comfortable and experienced with all breeds small to large, from puppies to elderly dogs, including managing and caring for multiple dogs at once. I now have a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I live the dog love lifestyle day in and day out. :) I understand how important your furry friend is to you, so I am driven and committed to create the best owner and pet experience possible, treating and caring for your loved one(s) as if they were my own. Dogs will appreciate my joy and eagerness to see them, warm hugs/cuddles, love for outdoor walks and activities, belly rubs, and playful personality. Owners can feel at ease, knowing that I am dependable, responsible, and respectful of their homes and pets. Whether I am walking, dropping in to visit, boarding, or housesitting, you can travel with confidence knowing that your beloved fluffy family member will be in great hands with me.

Molly did an awesome job with my two dogs when I was out of town for the weekend. She kept me updated on what she was doing and my dogs were very well cared for while I was gone. Will definitely use again in the future!

Molly was a great host for my dog. She provided multiple updates a day and her home is well suited for boarding. Would definitely use her again in the future and recommend her to others.

Molly was quick and concise on her communication from the start. We felt safe and comforted leaving our 1 year old puppy with her. Molly went above and beyond to come pickup Maple the day of the stay and send the most adorable photos to us. I would highly recommend Molly. Thank you for caring for our dog with the same amount of love and care we have for her.

Molly was prompt and communicative. I felt comfortable knowing she was in my home. I was very grateful for her help watching our cat over the holidays. We will definitely reach out to her in the future for our cat-sitting needs.

I live with my Golden Retriever puppy Teddy in a cute family neighborhood in Robbinsdale, very close to several parks, Crystal Lake, and incredible walking trails along Victory Memorial Parkway, so your dog will be well cared for at my home. My yard is fully fenced so your pup can enjoy running and playing safely to burn off some energy. Pets are welcome on furniture and beds in my home. As long as your pet is friendly and okay around other dogs, they will have plenty of personal attention and love when staying with me, plus perhaps make a new dog friend in my Teddy who loves to play and be friends with any dog he meets! I also have my own car, so I can easily come to client's homes within a 5-mile radius of my house for drop-in visits, or walks. What’s Next? If you liked my profile and reviews, please reach out to schedule your next pet service. For first time clients, I schedule a Meet and Greet before booking to make sure I am comfortable with you, you are comfortable with me, and I am comfortable in my ability to take proper care of your pet's needs. No Meet and Greet needed for returning clients. Thank you for reading my profile and I hope you consider me for your next pet care needs!

Information Molly R. would like to know about your pet

I require that ALL pet clients: - are friendly with my puppy Teddy (if boarding or day care at my home) - are up to date on vaccinations, particularly rabies and flea treatments - have up to date licenses and collars with identification tags - bring kennel/crate for stay and are crate/kennel trained I'm here for you and your pet so we can discuss at the Meet and Greet how I can best provide for both of your goals, needs, and concerns. Open and clear communication is my operating style so I would like to be up front about all the important things right away, so let’s talk! No breed preferences, I love all dogs. General information I’d like to know to determine we’d be a good fit: - your dog’s personality and preferences (likes, dislikes, fears) -spay/neuter status - health history and special needs (allergies, anxiety, etc.) - vet information (in case of emergency) and emergency contacts - up to date on vaccinations, flea prevention, heartworm? - diet and feeding schedule - bathroom and walk schedule - pet allowed on furniture or off-limits places? - training commands - sociability around other dogs, animals, children and adults - is traveling with me in car to park, dogpark, etc. okay? - additional example information, from https://www.rover.com/blog/meet-greet-checklist/ **having the above information and any other relevant care details in a written format is very helpful**

A typical day

I'm so very excited for all the fun possibilities and experiences to have with your pet! During the warm months, I want to be outside as much as possible. We'll walk all around the parks (doggie off-leash ones if your pet gets along well with others), nature, and trails near my house, your house, or in the Twin Cities area. I'll throw a stick or ball to fetch, play tug of war or just play with and chase your pup around my or your fenced yard. If they want (and with owner's consent of course), we can take a little dip in a nearby lake! I'll make sure to have them cleaned up and dry before returning home if we go for a water adventure. On winter, wet, or colder days, we'll go for shorter walks and play inside with toys and there will be plenty of snuggles and nap time if they'd like. We could also take a trip to the pet store! Every time your pet is with me, I will make sure they are fed according to their diet and timing needs, have plenty of water and bathroom breaks. I'm also happy administer medicine as necessary and bathing can be negotiated as well. Your pet will get plenty of love and positive attention while you are away, and you can expect regular updates and photos of your dog and I having fun!
