Hi! I'm Molly. I'm 31, born and raised in NYC, and have loved animals my whole life! I have experience fostering rescue dogs including puppies and adults of different breeds and sizes, as well as petsitting for puppies, adults and senior dogs. As a former teacher, I have a gentle but firm approach and always prioritize safety of the animals in my care, and stick to the owner's routines. I can adapt to any animal's needs, having cared for both brave young puppies and nervous adult dogs, and can keep up with strong leash-pullers on long walks as well as jumpy puppies on short walks :). Molly did a wonderful job looking after my dog and my cat while I was away for a long weekend. She seems to be a natural with animals. She came by for a meet & greet before booking, which made me more comfortable about letting her stay in my apartment. And she was very communicative during the actual visit. I appreciated that she was trying to keep to my usual routine while looking out for the pets' needs and concerns.

Molly was very calm and patient with my dog Mars who has fear based anxiety. She followed all of our instructions and kept us updated on how he was doing. Would recommend for anyone looking for house sitting or walking.

A typical day
I'm happy to stick to the owner's walking routes in their neighborhood, explore dog runs and dog parks if that's part of their routine, and do lots of playing at home! I have been known to create handmade dog toys and sweaters for my fosters :).

Availability
I work M-F from 1:30-8:30 (including commute time), but always available for early morning and late night feeding/walking. ****PLEASE NOTE**** If your pet cannot potentially be left alone for this length of time and you do not have additional sitters/ walkers, I’m afraid it may not be a good fit :( I am allergic to cats so cannot stay in a home with cats.
