Reliable, caring and experienced house and pet-sitter/dog-walker with excellent references. I take pride in my commitment to professional and compassionate care for your loved ones. I've truly enjoyed making pals with all of the pets I've taken care of over the years, from dogs and cats, to chickens, pigs, and even a tarantula! All my clients say I'm their number one go-to pet-sitter and always express how they can enjoy their vacations more, knowing I'm there. I work a part-time job (20 hours/week) so I do not have 24/7 availability. However, I always know my schedule at least three weeks in advance, making it easy to manage and coordinate care. I love my pet-sitting and dog-walking work, and look forward to meeting new clients as well as deepening my connections with established clients and furry friends.

I would highly recommend Molly as a dog sitter! Although I have a cat and no dogs at this time, she has cat sat for me on numerous occasions, from one or two days to a week. Molly is very kind, gentle, reliable, and an animal lover. I always breathe easier when I'm away and I know she's in charge of the home front. She is a delightful young woman!
Molly has been doing pet sitting for me for 2+ years, so it is with mixed emotions that I write this testimonial. She is such a kind, thoughtful, playful, delightful individual and absolutely wonderful with all of our animals (dogs, cats, and chickens for a time), that when the word gets out on the "street" that she is available for pet sitting, she might be busy when I need her next, agh! When Molly comes to stay with our pets I have the best vacations as I know my pets will be so well cared for, plus I always come home to a clean home. She is reliable, she keeps me updated from time to time on what's going on at home. Anyone who hires Molly will get the best pet sitter ever, just please don't hire her when I want to go away.

I like to know their temperament and and their usual routine, as well as any dietary restrictions (like treats etc.). I like to keep as close to their usual routine as possible, and only feed/use treats as instructed.
A typical day
This is dependent on how well the dog behaves around other dogs. If the dog is well-socialized, I like to use the inter-urban trail or walk in the neighborhood. (This can be a fun way to meet neighbors when housesitting, since they often recognize the dog and we strike up a conversation). If the dog really needs to run, we'll go to a park where they can be off-leash and play fetch. If the dog struggles with being around other dogs, I have a few great, more secluded walks (such as the BP property near Birch Bay, a few quiet country roads, and less populated beaches) where there are fewer dogs and people to disturb us.
