Pet care experience
I have owned and worked with dogs my whole life, and have loved every second of it. My partner and I are both pediatric travel nurses and just got our placement in LA! My partner will be taking a nursing contract and I will be working on Rover while gaining some new nursing skills I have been wanting to practice in. Since I will not be working my normal nursing schedule and mainly focusing on Rover and new education we will have a very flexible schedule. Throughout my life I have always had a dog in my house, which meant I could get good experience working with different dogs and helping to train them. Along with that, I have done Rover since my senior year of college and took a break for about a year and a half to begin fostering dogs. Fostering dogs taught me so much for training, attending to what the dog needs most, and so much more. Most importantly though, I will give your dog the love and attention it deserves!

Molly was fantastic. She was great with communications and was very caring toward our buddy. He rarely looks as comfortable with folks as he did with her! She was also concerned when he didn’t eat and actively reached out to ask for strategies. Would love to work with her again!

I don’t have any dog preferences. However, I would love to know how comfortable your dog is with other dogs (especially if you think taking them to the dog park might not be a good idea). It would also be helpful to know if I can feed them treats, as well as if you are working on any training with them. Along with this, I would like to know their routine and what makes them more comfortable, especially being with them being in a different place with new people.
A typical day
I am a huge fan of taking walks to nearby parks or even down to the beach. Depending on your dog and how they do with other dogs I would also be able to take them to the dog park. I also enjoy going on hikes and would be more than happy to take your dog on hikes with me! I am unfortunately not a big runner, I mostly just enjoy walks and hikes, but whatever kind activities your dog likes I am up for!

Availability
Our schedule is thankfully very flexible because we are both nurses. Right now my partner is taking a nursing assignment and I will work on Rover while I work on gaining some new nursing skills so we will have plenty of time to fit in caring and giving lots of attention to your pup.
