Experienced animal care giver

Pet care experience

I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals and grew up surrounded by packs of dogs. I adopted my first dog when I was 11 and was only allowed to do so if I took on 100% of the responsibility. Since then I have come to love dogs of all temperaments and personalities and have learned even more since adopting another dog as an adult. I spent the last three years as a manager of a horse farm in Vermont where I was responsible for the daily care of boarder’s beloved horses. Horses have always been my passion, and dogs are right there with them. My own dog Rudy has brought me so much happiness and she has taught me to stay humble. She has her challenges but I made a promise to her that she would have the best quality of life and I love helping other people find that with their dogs as well. I’ve gone through extensive training with Rudy so I have some baseline amateur training techniques. Dog manners are very important to me, and whatever routine you have with your dog I will absolutely maintain because I understand how important it is to be consistent. Our dogs are our family members so it is so important to find a dog walker who you and your dog can trust and I’d like to be that for people in the Bay Area! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule so I am available to walk your pups and check in on them as needed! I have a dog who loves other dogs in open pack walk settings. We love to go on hikes and leash walks and she loves to play with other dogs. I have a fenced in yard as well, but I’d love to take your dog to dog parks or long walks to get some exercise too! If you decide that I’m the right fit for you and your dog I’d love to do a meet and greet with my dog and yours to make sure it’s a good fit. This is really important in order to develop trust between me, you and your dog.

Very friendly and easy to communicate with. She brought her dog along (with my approval) which was awesome for my Sophie. I will definitely use her services again!

Molly was AWESOME. She was able to help out in a last-minute situation and take care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. She gave us lots of updates and made sure our dog was well cared for. We were grateful and knew that our dog was in good hands with Molly. I highly recommend Molly—she was super responsive and has experience with dogs (like ours) that may need some 'extra' attention.

I live in a 3 bedroom house with 2 roommates. We have a fenced in yard and we are right down the street from a lovely fenced in grassy park. I like to take my dog to Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley so I’d love for your dog to tag along! My dog gets along well with other dogs. She’s really independent so she likes to go off and do her own thing. She can sometimes be a little nervous but it just takes a little warming up to another dog and she will do just fine. If your dog wants to play rough then Rudy might tell them to calm down because sometimes she can be the fun police!

I don’t have any breed preferences. I understand that all dogs have different personalities and different needs just like people. Not all dogs are going to get along or be a good fit just because they are dogs. So, with that in mind-I would just like to know what situations your dog gets nervous in. Do they like other dogs? How do they play? How do they do around cats and kids? Are they food motivated? (Can I feed them the treats I bring with me?) Are they E-collar trained? (I can learn how to use your collar for off leash walks) What routine do you have with them when leaving the house, if any? For example: My dog Rudy likes other dogs. She has good greetings and is friendly with lots of butt sniffs. She’s not super confident so if she gets nervous she will separate herself from the group and go do her own thing. But she LOVES to run and if another dog wants to chase her then it’s on! She doesn’t really know what to make of cats and kids and they make her nervous too.

A typical day

I really like to take dogs on off leash adventures. If you prefer that your dog stay on leash, we can do that too! My dog walks well on and off leash with other dogs so either activity is fine! We like to go to Cesar Chavez Park, Ohlone Park, Albany Bulb, and other longer hikes! I’m always down for a game of fetch or a swimming excursion too :)
