Dogs ARE man's best friend!
Pet care experience
I am a mother to 4 teenage girls! We are all animal lovers, husband included! I have spent the past 18 years raising my kids and I finally have the time to move forward into the dog career that I am so excited about..... animal assisted therapy. At the present moment I am taking online courses on dog behavior and dog care, and I would like to begin caring for dogs on a full time basis. I have received a pet sitting certificate through one of the courses that I have taken and I have also received a certificate for completing a course on dealing with anxious dogs. Dogs have the potential to greatly enrich people's lives and I have personally witnessed the amazing effects that dogs have had on my own family (better than happy pills!) I want to give back! I have owned and personally cared for two German shepherd mixes, a Golden retriever and a Pit bull mix. Four very different dog personalities (just like my teenagers!) I am extremely flexible with time, open to instructions and would absolutely adore any time I would have to care for your dog and add to the fun in their day (and in mine).

Molly took care of my dog, Toby, for a long weekend. I went to her house for a meet and greet first, and she took a lot of time getting to know Toby and learning about his schedule and personality. We also met her husband and daughters, who loved Toby right away! Molly and her family took amazing care of Toby! They showered him with so much love! Molly sent me pictures throughout the weekend, and in all the pictures someone in the family was cuddling or playing with Toby. Toby was so well cared for and loved just like he was their own dog! I am having Molly and her family take care of Toby again when I go away in a few months. Toby was so lucky to be able to stay with such an amazing family!
Molly has been taking care of my 2 South African Boerboels every Friday for the last couple of months. She loves and cares about the animals that she handles. She spent a lot of time getting to know the dogs and making sure they were comfortable with her. She is dedicated ,reliable. and professional. I don't trust anyone with my animals-so that alone is a testament to her qualifications, and how comfortable I am with her. She has the code to our house and she comes and goes without any one being home
Molly was great with taking care of Taylor from beginning to end. She took the time to meet with me before our date and was very detailed in understanding the needs for my dog and took great notes. During the stay I was getting pics and also any other questions that she had to help with Taylor's stay there. It was my first time with Molly and I could see using her in the future seeing how much passion her and her family had taking care of my dog.

I would like to know how the dog is with other animals. how the dog generally behaves with strangers and if the dog easily responds to simple commands. What is the temperament of the dog? I am very partial to dogs in the Labrador family
A typical day
I would love to be guided by the dog owner's preferences.......since each dog is different. I would love walking in the park, playing ball, and said dog would enjoy snuggling with 4 very affectionate teenage girls at night. We have a very warm and loving household. Every Sunday consists of rolling around the floor and cuddling with Lila, a big black family poodle!
