Welcome to 'Camp Halla'

Pet care experience

Going on vacation? So is your dog! We try to make it a fun experience for your pup coming to our home while you're away as we know it can be stressful on them! As the owner/President of a local dog rescue, I know, too well, how dogs can be, coming in to a strange home. We try to make their time with us as fun/enjoyable as possible. Having a dog rescue and fostering dogs helps me understand several different breeds, behaviors and temperaments. Your dog would have free reign of our home (unless you had other instructions such as crating), a fully fenced in back yard and my two dogs (and 3 kids) to play with while here! About this sitter: Being a stay at home mom, gives me flexible hours to spend time with your dog while staying at mine. It also allows time for me to come to your home and take care of your pets! I am able to feed, walk, play, potty and even give medications if needed! Owning a dog rescue has given me the opportunity to know many breeds and their temperaments and personalities! I am patient with dogs (even bad habits) and would work with them as needed! I would love to give your dog that break from their day of 'lounging around' while you are away! I have been dog sitting for over 10 years and have owned a dog rescue since 2008 (fostering). I have dog sat dogs in my own home from an overnight to a stay of 6 weeks long. I also am able to travel to homes to let dogs outside for potty breaks, exercise, feedings, etc.. Why I love dog sitting I have owned dogs all my life. Our family has always had 2-3 dogs at a time to love! Meet my pets I have 2 dogs of my own. About my yard We have a nice, fully grassed backyard with a 6' fence. We also have a deck attached to the house where my dogs enjoy sunbathing! My experience administering medication yes. I am able to give pills orally or liquid medication orally or even shots if necessary.

I am so grateful to know Molly and her family take such good care of my poodle mix, Sophie, when I am away. Molly sends updates and pictures which really helps me feel assured that Sophie is doing well. If you are looking for a family who will care for your dog as their own, look no further. Molly and her family provide excellent care and are very kind and welcoming.

Molly watched our Dixie for 4 days while we went to Austin. We knew she would be nervous because this is one of the first times we were leaving her for a while. Dixie warmed up right away! Molly sent me a photo and an update every day to let me know how she was doing. Molly has a nice home with a large fenced in backyard that she lets the dogs go in and out of as they please. She also has three children that are so sweet and caring and help out with the sitting as well. Dixie is shy around people but when I picked her up she kept running back and forth between me and the three kids, she was so comfortable and loved her new friends by then! I would absolutely use Molly again for a future sit and would recommend you to use her as a sitter as well!

Molly was great with our 2 girls while we were away. We were extremely nervous about leaving them since our older girl is very anxious and our younger one tends to be a bit mischievous. Molly was very understanding and has obviously had a lot of experience with many types of dogs. She was welcoming and willing to accommodate to their needs. She sent us pictures throughout their stay which showed them snuggling in with her kids as part of the family. Knowing they were staying in a loving home made it so much easier to leave them.

Molly was awesome! She sent pictures and really took time and care with Lacey. She was flexible in returning her and Lacey seems very happy with her too! I will totally use Molly again!

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Leashed walks will be around our neighborhood on sidewalks. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Where they feel most comfortable. If your dog prefers a crate, we can accommodate that. If your dog prefers dog beds, human beds or couches, we can accommodate that as well! Time I'll spend with your dog Being a stay at home mom gives me a lot of hours to spend with your dog if at my home or stopping by your home for a potty/play break! Time I'll spend with your dog The average time spent if I go to your home would be 30 minutes - time to eat, potty and play or walk. If the dog is at my home staying, since I am a stay at home mom, your dog would be around me 99% of my day! (with the exception of running quick errands, picking up kids from school, etc... Extra house-sitting services I am able to bring in the mail and water plants for a small additional fee (depending on services needed.
