I grew up in the country on a large plot of land with lots of animals. I have cared for all types of animals (fish, fowl, rabbits, cats, dogs, horses) and I miss having as much contact now that I live in New York City. Growing up I used to run with my family dogs and I enjoy going for walks and throwing a ball or playing tug-o-war with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have been in NYC for 8 years. I had parrots for 5 years but presently have a pet free home in a building that allows dogs. In the city I have watched friends cats and dogs and regularly walked dogs and cared for them while their owners were away. I respect that all owners have slightly different diet, exercise and household regimens for their dogs and I am happy to follow these rules.
