Hi There! I’m Molly, lover of all animals :) I am getting back into the Rover game after switching careers! I am a massage therapist in town and also volunteer once a week with horses which allows much more flexibility for hangin out with your pets. I am learning how to practice equine bodywork but love to give cats and dogs massages almost as much, if not more, than humans… they have tension too! I have had dogs and cats consistently throughout my life and have often taken care of my friends and families animals throughout the years. I love being active and taking pups on walks, to the beach or on hikes. If high activity ain’t your dogs thang anymore, I’m happy to snuggle up and just hang too. I also love cats and have one of my own, my friends refer to me as the cat whisperer. I pride myself on being able to befriend the shyest of cats. I am extremely clean and will leave your home as clean, or cleaner than you left it. I also love plants and am happy to take care of them while you are away too!

Molly was accommodating and flexible when I needed someone to check on my skittish dog for an hour. She hung out with him and he was calm when I got home. Will definitely use Molly next time I need a sitter!

Molly was great! She was available at the last minute, was super accommodating of our schedule, and did a great job caring for our home and our skittish little dog. She sent regular updates, including pictures when our camera-shy dog would let her snap some. She handled it well when our little guy dug his way out of the yard and was found wandering the neighborhood. She got him to eat and go for a walk (stuff he tends not to do when we're gone) and he clearly liked her. When we got home, the house was tidy and clean and the dog was happy and relaxed. We would happily use Molly again.
Molly would be a great dog sitter. She has always been an animal lover since childhood (she used to want to be a veterinarian) and gives them all the cuddles they need while also playing and making sure they get exercise, too. She is also responsible and will never miss a sitting appointment!

No breed preference, I love them all and have had experience with them a lot. Chihuahua, King Charles Spaniels, Border collie, Pit bull, Mastiff, plus a couple mixed breeds throughout the years. Before sitting and/or walking I would like to know your dogs temperament in regards to humans and other dogs, and whether or not they have any habits you do or don't want them to do. If your dog is in training or has been trained to do certain things just let me know and I will try my best to carry out those lessons to not confuse your dog!
A typical day
Santa Cruz is a wonderful town for dogs! I will take dogs to the beach, for walks along the cliffs or on hikes if they are active! If not, I will play fetch and cuddle them at home. I like to take the lead from cats. I would love to play with them but if they need time to warm up that’s okay too.

Availability
Im a massage therapist and work Friday-Tuesday however my schedule is flexible and I frequently have time between massages to come see your animals! I volunteer at a barn on Wednesdays but only for a few hours. Wednesday and Thursday are my most available days, especially for last minute bookings.
