Professional Dog Trainer & Vet Tech

Pet care experience

Woof! I’ve been passionate about animals since as long as I can remember and I’m so glad to call it a career today. I’ve been involved in dog raising, rescuing and training since I was a small child. I am a certified positive reinforcement and force free dog trainer. I’ve taught group training classes, and private lessons and competed in agility and conformation. I’ve worked as a vet tech and provided medication and injections to animals. I’m experienced with special needs pets and wound care. Training Certifications: CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, Fear Free Professional Certification

Mollie was such a great sitter for my sassy, sweet, high energy vizsla. I really appreciated her thoughtful questions related to Potato's schedule and Mollie's location in Buena Vista, with ample space for the doggo to walk, run and roam, just can't be beat. Thanks again Mollie :)

Our dogs were happy and well exercised after staying with Mollie. Mollie is attentive to details snd connects with the pups. Her set up works really well with both space and other dog playmates.

Mollie is great with my 7 year old Rottweiler and 10 month old black Labrador. She was very responsive to my puppies anxiety with me being gone and kept me fully informed, buy still allowed me time I needed away from them. I will definitely ask her to help sit them again in the future!

Mollie had a beautiful spot for pet sitting and took the best care of our Zoe! Thank you!

I have a very flexible schedule, and will be available to you and your furry friend whenever you need. My career is based on force free methods and my guarantee is that with me as a pet sitter, your dogs will receive a gentle hand, compassion and understanding in a confusing time for them when you are not home. As your pet sitter, it’s my goal that you will never have to wonder what level of pet care and treatment your dogs are receiving.

Information Mollie C. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences, but I want to know if your dog has any issues ahead of time so that I can better take care of them. I’m experienced with dogs and happy to work with high needs dogs both behaviorally and health wise. I just need to know any special needs ahead of time for the safety of me and your dog.

A typical day

Fun activities totally depend on the dog! Some dogs love quiet and a nice cuddle and some dogs love mental stimulation and fun games. As a trainer, I will always evaluate the comfort level of your dogs before introducing anything new that could be potentially scary Liz With outgoing dogs, I LOVE training games! I love bringing a snuffle mat, or a few kong toys and watching a dogs brain work. When we go on walks, I love seeing the things each specific dog chooses to sniff out, and the best interest points. 99% of dog owners think their dogs are smart and 100% of them are right. I love seeing how dogs are unique and tailoring time with each dog that is enriching, mentally stimulating, and reinforces great dog behavior. I want your dog to be mentally and physically engaged in whatever level they are at so that our time together is positive and not about how much they miss you.

I train dogs out of my own home, so pet care is always on my mind either in my own home or yours. We train service dog candidates at our house so when I’m not taking care of your awesome and beloved pets I am home taking care of mine. I’ve also have vet tech experience and a senior dog of my own so I am familiar with higher-needs dogs that have greater requirements such as regular medication or more in depth cleaning.
