I'd call her the dog whisperer if the name hadn't already been patented and trademarked. Watching Mj with my dog, I can say she easily steps into alpha, which is the best thing for a pack animal. I saw Mj train a pit bull to shake paw, lay down, and woof on command in 20 minutes at an adoption event. All this with a dog the handlers had already tried and failed at. The pups KNOW!!

MJ house/pet sit for me for 3 years before we moved from College Station. I used her on the recommendation of a cleaning service I used, not through Rover. Each stay was at least a week and we used her several times a year. She was very professional, respectful, and non-assuming. She would always send me updates with videos and pictures. Our pets are like children to us, so I appreciated this very much! On one occasion, one of my dogs got very ill and started having seizures. MJ took her to our vet right away and then called me to let me know what was going on, what the vet was doing and what he recommended. As I hadn't anticipated this happening, I didn't leave any way for her to pay for the visit or the meds. But, to my relief she had already made arrangements to pay for everything out of her own pocket, so my girl could get the treatment she needed. When we returned, I reimbursed her with much earned interest because to me this went above and beyond! While some owners may have preferred to be called prior to their pet being taken to the vet in such a case, I greatly appreciated the initiative MJ took and the care she continued to give my babies. And above all, all 3 of my dogs and both of my cats loved her! That said it all for me! It has been hard to find someone like her to take care of my 'kids' since we moved.
