Pet care experience
I've fostered a few rescue dogs recently and really enjoyed it. Also a former cat owner. I enjoy the companionship but am just not willing to commit quite yet! I work from home full time, and love long walks and hikes, so having a canine companion to join me would be great. During the pandemic we are almost always home, so your pet would generally always be kept company. We don't have any other pets or children, although if your dog likes to play with other dogs, we often meet up with our nearby friend and her dog to walk, hike, or visit a park together. Happy to dog or cat sit weekdays or weekends and generally flexible about planning drop offs and pick ups. I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule so am happy to keep your pet company throughout the day and I always enjoy a work companion. I have a small backyard with a long leash for morning coffee or evening potty breaks. My office is in the front room by our big glass front door which the dogs love to sit watching the neighbors pass throughout the day.
