... quality, dedicated pet care. Responsible, caring, fun, pet enthusiast. I grew up in Texas, surrounded by pets my whole life (dogs, cats, rabbits). Over 12 years ago, I adopted the sweetest Sheltie-Feist puppy from the SPCA. And 10 years ago we moved to NYC. I can't imagine my life without her. She brings me and everyone around her so much joy & happiness. She's a big part of my life and family. She's also very friendly & chill. Great with kids, other dogs & humans too. I will take care of and love your pet as you do. Pet-friendly, non-smoking, cheerful environment. I have experience with puppies, training, traveling with pets, pet sitting, and senior dogs. (Breeds: sheltie-feist, schnoodles, poodles, beagles, french bulldogs, cocker spaniels)

Misty was great!
Misty watched my dog Roo for 5 days this past month and was great! She sent me pics of Roo to let me know how she was doing. She also was nice enough to drop her off at Daycare for me on the last day.
Misty dog sat for my 6 month old puppy for 5 days. Misty was able to meet up prior to ensure her dog, Roxy, and my dog, Jaise, would get along - which they did (Roxy sounded very chill and generous w/ her space). Misty was even flexible enough to work around a holiday emergency! Misty was great w/ Jaise and was able to walk her around the W Village. Occasionally, I received a photo update of Jaise. And Misty made pickup extremely easy. Overall, I'd say my experience and Jaise's experience were wonderful. I would highly recommend Misty for your future doggy needs!
I've had the pleasure of having Misty dog sit for my schnoodle, Elly. My pup can be a bit high-maintence (partly because I'm a helicopter dog mom) but Misty patiently listed to my very long list of Elly's habits and quirks and made me feel at ease leaving my fur baby with her. I came back from my trip to find a happy, healthy pup who had clearly enjoyed her time with Misty and her lovable dog Roxy. I've left Elly with Misty now every time I'm heading out of town. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Trustworthy, dependable, loves animals, attentive, and with a sunny personality, Misty is an excellent, reliable choice of pet sitter.

A typical day
...for shorter walks I like walking around my neighborhood (Cornelia, Jones street, etc) where foot traffic is low and the probability of running into other neighborhood pups is high. Washington Square park is close by for longer walks and enjoying the outdoors. My dog LOVES playing catch (but doesn't like the park competition) so we play indoors; A LOT. This is just my dog's routine. So if your dog enjoy's more or less, just let me know and I am sure I can accommodate.
