Pet care experience
I'm currently loving a ginger cat and two Guinea pigs! I grew up with Rottweilers and bully’s so I have experience with large breeds. I’ve professionally walked small terriers to cane corsos. I’ve also volunteered with the SPCA, Audubon Zoo, and ARNO. Throughout college I walked/house sat for families in Lakeview while also caring for my senior shih-tzu that passed in 2019 at the age of 14. I love animals and find it very rewarding to care for them.

Misty was wonderful with my shy puppy! She kept him busy & happy while I was at work
Misty watched my senior pup Roux, who had never been home alone with a sitter before. She's a sweet girl but protective of the house, and Misty worked with us to make sure she was comfortable with her coming into the space. Roux warmed up to Misty really fast, and we got several updates during the stay. Unfortunately on the first night, the morning visit was skipped and Roux was alone overnight for 16 hours without bathroom access until Misty came at 2pm. The rest of the visit went fine but this was Roux's first experience with a sitter overnight, and she has separation anxiety so it's unfortunately this was her experience.
Misty was awesome! Sent pics and videos and even helped administer tootsies steroids for her bleeding face! Thank you!
Misty took care of my dogs for 5 days over the 4th of July weekend. Fireworks stress one of my pups but Misty handled it perfectly. Excellent communication and daily pics! Highly recommend!!

A typical day
I have access to a very large yard (over 1000 sq ft with privacy fence) where we can play and sun bathe outside. I am also close to parks and the lakefront for strolls along the levee or playing fetch. We can also visit dog parks if socialized or a puppy needing socialization.
