After losing my two older dogs, I recently started dog sitting again in 2024. I had a 16 & 17 year old, so I'm good with taking care of elder dogs or giving meds. Going back to sitting too keep my little one socialized, as I'm not ready for another one of my own. I have 1 small, 10lb, 11 year old Chi-wienee who is pretty lazy and friendly (after the inital meet). I live in a home with a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard with lots of green space and hardwood floors. For in home boarding I'm not looking for high energy dogs due to my older dogs activity level, drop ins or walks no issues on energy level. No children or cats in my home, so pretty peaceful and calming for older dogs. I have a pretty quiet neighborhood and can take your dog(s) on a walk if you like. I do have to be in the office normal hours Wed & Thurs, but work from home the rest of the days. Anytime I am dog sitting during my office days I will go home for my lunch hour to let them out since my office is nearby.
