I live my life in the service of a small terrier. Let me spoil your dog too. I've been walking dogs and taking care of houses since I was 5 years old. I work mostly evenings so my daytimes are flexible for your dogs midday walks or breaks. Just let me know what you need. I can stop by several times a day or stay the night at your home of you are away. Short walks, hikes, or just a quick stop- in are all possible. I can handle specific feeding and complicated medication instructions as well. I look forward to getting to know your dog and finding out how to improve his or her quality of life and your peace of mind. See you soon!

I’ve had quite a few dog sitters, and Misty is by far the best! She and her husband go above and beyond the call of duty and made sure Edwin was treated like a family member. He felt very comfortable and it’s such a relief to know he’s in great hands while I am away. I will definitely have Misty take care of Edwin again.
She was perfect! Was able to help me on super short notice and took a photo of my Theo that looked straight out of a catalog!
Misty took great care of my Facui. She get very nervous in new environments, but Misty did everything she could to make her feel at home. Provided daily photos .Would defiantly book again.
Misty was awesome and took such good care of my pup. Stayed in touch and updated me throughout the weekend. Highly recommend!

As much as I like them, I am very allergic to cats so I can't stay in your home if you have an indoor cat. I can do drop-ins for you though. I also won't be able to help you if you use a shock collar of any kind. I'm just not comfortable using those, and any dogs I take care of need to be good with other dogs.
A typical day
I love to walk, run and hike. Your dog will get plenty of exercise with me. I know all the best places to hike and run and play near Charlottesville.
