My name is Missy. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years. I have a passion for all animals, large and small. I offer a traveling pet care service, per visit, in your own home. I understand when some pets need to stay home, such as older pets ,farm animals and horses. We have lots of experience we them too. I will lessen your pets' anxiety by maintaining your routines while you're away and give them lots of love. I can do long or short term pet sitting and I offer a dog walking daily exercise service. I have 5 years experience working at a Veterinary Clinic. I can give medications and give baths. I currently have 2 dogs, 1 cat , 3 horses and 8 chickens. Your pets will be well cared for by me and my family. My daughter Phoebe has been approved by Rover and will be helping me with House and Pet Sitting. She has been raised with animals and shown many in her years with the 4-H program. - I worked 5 years at a Veterinary Clinic. I was taught how to take care of all the animals that came in. I can give medications. I was trained in the safe handling and care of the police dogs that came to our hospital. -I showed in dog shows as a youth and had dog obedience training. - I worked in a pet store. - I volunteer at Harmony High School Veterinary Assisting Class and Vet Clinic. - I volunteer at Heavenly Hoofs Therapeutic Equestrian Center. - I have experience in taking care of dogs, cats, horses, farm animals, exotics and birds. Why I love dog sitting Always had dogs in my family. My first dog was a cockapoo and I showed her in my 4-H club at the fair. I was then asked by others to show their dogs for them. Because I loved dogs so much and going to shows, my mother bought me my first AKC pure bred English Setter, as a teenager, that I got to show as a Jr. Handler. To this day I have never not owned a dog. Of course all my dogs became best friends with all my cats! Meet my pets We have one dog, a two cats. We have recently transitioned to a smaller home. All our horses and chickens have gone to wonderful forever homes. Yes, no problem giving medications.
