Pet care experience
I've lived with pets most of my life (dogs, cats, mice, and horses!) and couldn't love them more. I've volunteered as a trainer for the Humane Society, worked at a cage-less dog-boarding facility, and trained all my own animals with an emphasis on natural techniques and gentle approaches. I have a flexible schedule and would love to work with you to meet your pet's needs. My apartment may not have a yard of it's own, but the courtyard is very dog-friendly and the park behind the complex is, too. If your pet needs a little extra playtime or to work off their energy, I would so enjoy a run buddy for my own workout! Training for basic obedience and special tricks is a passion of mine -- I'd love to help you out with a special request! *Holiday rates will be maintained for additional dogs and a manual adjustment will be made during booking*

Best walker ever! So great & my dog loves her!
Miriam was incredible in the whole process. She was very patient with us prior to Kala's stay and even more so by the end of t, where I had last minute changes made to my flight back. She is obviosly great with dogs and it is clear she cares well for them. When I picked up Kala she was excited to see us but she did want to leave right away. Miriam sends constant updates and pics, helps the dog with certain quirks and provides lots of love and caring throughout the dog's stay with her. Her dog is a sweetheart and got along so well with Kala. It is really great to know that when you are away wfrom your dog he will be taken care of, loved, pampered and have lots of fun and social interaction. And that is exactly what Kala received with Miriam. I would rebook with her or recommend her to a friend in a heartbeat.
Miriam was so wonderful with Mosby! He had a bit of an anxious belly during his stay and she took care of him as if he were her own. She also did some leash walking work with him, which was great!
Miriam did a fantastic job looking after my dog. She was extremely responsive, flexible, and kind!

Unfortunately, pitbulls aren't allowed in my apartment complex (awful discrimination). My pup is a more timid guy and prefers not to be leapt on repeatedly, but is familiar with dogs of all ages and sizes, and is very tolerant, so we can talk about it!

I live near a sweet little wooded park ideal for walking and running (my own pup loves it!) and keep a basket full of toys next to my leashes, harnesses, and treats.
