For the past year I have taken care of dogs for 2 families. Duties have included daily walks around the neighborhood. So far all pets have needed to be fed twice a day. One of the families had 2 large dogs one of which was more old and frail. While sitting for both dogs I walked both dog at short distance around the block, dropped of the older do, then continued a longer journey with the younger more energetic dog. Two other dogs I cared for were very young and energetic and due to their habit of getting overly aggressive with other dogs, i walked each do individually and at times when there were least people out in the neighborhood to enjoy a more calm steady walk. While dog sitting for the another of the families, the dog being very energetic needed to be walked 3 times a day varying between calm walks to full jogs. He is a very large golden retriever but is very well trained and I had no issues walking him around crowded places or near other dogs.
