I know after having two of my own they are depending on you. I have pet sit for neighbors and they are very pleased when they return home. I think it is important to make sure dogs get exercise and most of all lots of love. One great reward of being around dogs is they can be very funny and remind us not to take life too seriously. I had one dog that live 17 years. She was a mix. My last dog a very funny black lab I adopted at 7 months old was very high energy and needed to run everyday. Every dog is different and unique. Lastly I would like to mention that I only work part time and have the time to invest in making sure the dogs I pet sit get the quality of care that they deserve.
