Pet care experience
I have 4 years of experience dog sitting in private homes. Usually my dog sitting experiences have included two or more dogs so I am able to keep up with multiple pets at once! I have two dogs of my own and understand the importance of frequent updates. I am committed to keeping dogs entertained while sitting and enjoy getting to know new furry friends!

We added an additional visit last minute after mixing up the days we’d be gone and Miriam was so generous to help us out and add it! Our dogs love her and so do we!!
Our doggies love Miriam and so do we!! She looked after them over the holiday weekend and even text us to see if she could check on them on her own to make sure they were okay with the fireworks that she heard in the neighborhood ! It was so thoughtful! We can tell that she treats our dogs like her own.
Our dogs LOVE Miriam! Always responsive, always kind, always come home to happy pets. Even helped us out in a crunch for telling us a dose of meds for our daughter because we left them in an emergency.
Miriam was locked out of my house and stayed until I could let her in and still took daisy on a walk! Such an amazing person and dog sitter!

I try to meet dogs where they are- if they are high energy then I will play with them and walk them for as long as I can. My senior dog is very low energy so I am also able to snuggle while still trying to encourage some enrichment activities. Meet and greets are required.

A typical day
Quick walks around the neighborhood always turn into longer walks for me! For dogs like mine who prefer food-based enrichment, I love snuffle rugs and other puzzle type games to keep them entertained.

Availability
I work full time minutes away from my house, so I am able to come home for lunch to check in. My husband works from home most days and is available to help as needed.
