Pet care experience
We are an active family of four who love animals and who live in a 4-bedroom detached home with plenty of places for your baby to stretch out and explore.Your baby will get plenty of walks on the nearby Lake Accotink trail, he/she will hardly ever be alone, they will get lots of cuddles by my animal-loving teens and you will get tons of digital photos, several times a day of your baby simply "living the life". We have a dog of our own, Brad! He is an elderly rescue dog who loves lounging on the couch and loves doggy company, especially on his walks. He is super easy-going and super gentle. We also have two cats who are super friendly and very used to dogs. If your dog is easy-going and does not chase cats we'd love to sit for your baby. You will get to enjoy and relax on your vacation knowing your baby is more than fine, he will be having a vacation of his own. MUST be potty trained and we always do a meet and greet first, without exception.

Miriam, Chris, and their awesome family took such great care of my puppy while I was away! They were so welcoming and made me feel at ease right from the start. They showered my fur baby with love, attention, and playtime in a nurturing environment. They even dealt with my puppy's separation anxiety with extra care and comfort. They kept me in the loop with regular updates and adorable photos. I can't recommend them enough for their genuine passion and dedication to pet care. I'm so grateful for the peace of mind and amazing care they provided for my little buddy while I was away. They're pawsome!
This was the first time leaving our dog with someone in the year that we have had her. Chris and Miriam were very understanding of all of our anxiousness and sent pictures multiple times a day. They are responsive and Georgia seemed like she was at summer camp. We will definitely use them again!

We do not do crating. You pup is allowed to roam free in my home. Please share with us if your pup is food defensive and we will make sure to feed him/her separately from our dog. The more information you give us the more we can meet your dog's needs.

A typical day
We have Lake Accotink a block away. Your dog will get plenty of exercise. Up to three 25 minute walks a day. If your dog likes run, my husband or I would take him with us on a run. My to kids, who are 12 and 15 love to cuddle with the pets that visit while they sit on the couch and watch TV. We require a meet and greet for all new dogs.

Availability
My husband works from home and your pup will always have someone in the home. Either he is home or I am home. I work full-time as a teacher and I am home full time on weekends.
