Pet care experience
My name is Miranda Thomas, I am 20 years old and I have been taking care of other people’s animals since I was 14! I also have some great experience from working at a doggy day care (Camp Bow Wow) for over a year now. Some pets I have personally owned in the past are fish, rats, gerbils, dogs and a cat. I currently own a 12 year old Maltese-Bichon named Louie and a 3 year old cat named Zara. I also recently owned a pit bull mix named Biscuit. The experience I have in pet sitting/walking jobs is a lot! I’ve watched dogs, cats, turtles, guinea pigs, hamsters and owner’s households as well. I’m taking on this job for extra money because I am a college student at Kirkwood and think that this would be a very enjoyable job for me!

Miranda does a great job when she watches Olly for any period of time! She follows instructions easily and makes sure to keep me updated throughout the stay. She is willing to work with whatever schedule you give her. Would definitely rebook!
Miranda has been sitting for neighbor's and friend's pets since she was in middle school and clearly loves doing it. She can talk about and name every dog she has worked with at the doggy day care she worked for, showing how much she cares about each one there. Miranda will ask questions and make sure she has all the information she needs to be sure that the pet she watches receives the same love and care they would get from their own family. She takes advantage of any opportunity to take care of any pet and has shown nothing but love for the pets she has worked with, including my own dogs. She is a gem and worth reaching out to if you're looking for someone to care for you furry family member!
Miranda is a very responsible and loving dog caregiver. She has taken care of her family dog for years and also has worked at a doggy daycare where she takes care of dogs of all shapes and sizes. She will always put your animal's needs first.

A typical day
I think dogs would always enjoy nice walks and it’s great exercise. It will also help the dogs be more distracted and comfortable when their loved ones are gone! I will be taking your furry friend on walks in your neighborhood, near by parks or your preferred location. Other activities we can do is take a trip to a local dog park, play with toys or just get some love!
