Hi! My name is Miranda and I have been an animal lover my whole life. I am 25 and have had dogs and cats since I was a baby and currently have my own three year old dog and an eighteen year old cat. The cat is blind and three legged, so she stays in her own room separate for her safety. The dog is a psychiatric service dog, whom I trained with the help of a local trainer. He is extremely well behaved, of course, and absolutely loves other dogs when he’s off duty. I have walked and done pet setting on and off over the past seven years. I have walked two strong pit bulls simultaneously, one of which had a tendency to try to lunge at cars as they passed, so I am comfortable walking strong and impulsive dogs. I got my bachelors degree from Dartmouth in 2016, with a major in biology and a concentration in animal behavior. I am extremely attentive to my pets needs, desires, and health, and will show your pets the same loving care and devotion. I can work on training (commands, behavior, leash training) with your dog if you like, no extra charge. I allow my pets on the furniture, but if you don’t want to encourage that behavior I will keep your and my pets off the furniture for the duration of the stay. I will recreate your disciplinary style as closely as I can. I have cared for old, sick, and disabled pets and am comfortable and experienced in administering medication orally and transdermal. There will be plenty of love and attention and playing! I can even make homemade dog food (with vet verified nutrition) for your pet if you wish.
