Home away from home for your doggie :)

Pet care experience

I know it's hard to leave your furry family member. Especially if it means they have to be stuck in a kennel all day without the love and attention they regularly receive. You don't have to feel bad or anxious knowing that your doggie is at my home. I will love, snuggle, play, and treat your pet as if he/she were my own. Whether they're teeny or humongous, they are welcome here. I have experience with all temperaments. Although I am willing to take puppies for an extra fee, I can take them on the weekend only. I will take more than one pet as well for 15 more per pet. Whatever normal schedule or activities that your pet engages in normally will of course be played out during their stay. I am happy to provide a safe and true home away from home for your doggie, giving them love and you a peace of mind. About this sitter: I know it can be rough on your furry family member if not only you're leaving, but also if they have to transition temporarily to a new place. You can have the peace of mind that your loved one will be able to have stability by staying at their own home. I will provide love, companionship, and regular routines by traveling to your home to take care of your doggie. Why I love dog sitting Since I was born. I have been raised around both dogs and cats. I also had 2 goats growing up and a hedgehog at one point (it was sick when we got him so he sadly died not long after attaining him. I guess we just gave him palliative care at the end of his life). I was raised with chows, laps, Chihuahuas, golden retrievers, shitzu's, pitbulls, and I currently have a sheltie mix. I love all dogs and have experience with many sizes and temperaments. My experience administering medication Yes, I have much experiences with this, whether it is oral drops or pills, etc.

Miranda was great with Jayne! She was available to sit her in short notice and for an extra day when my travel plans changed unexpectedly. She took her to parks and to the pet store and sent me pictures all throughout my trip. It was very relieving to see her pictures. Miranda communicated very well with me and she took great care of Jayne. I would definitely recommend her and will definitely have her sit for me again if i travel in the future.

AVOID Our fur babies let us know that there is something wrong without words. Our baby came back scared and not wanting to come out of his kennel. He wouldn't eat and would constantly poop in his kennel. We are long time users of rover and travel frequently. We asked several times for photos of our baby during his stay (8 days) and we only received one photo of him in the corner of the yard near the fence. We think that she left him in his kennel all day and night alone. Never again will we use this girl. I urge anyone to please avoid this sitter.

Information Miranda S. would like to know about your pet

I only stay at non-smoking households and I prefer to bring my own dog with me. She is an 11 year old sheltie mix who is the laziest dog ever. Please also be aware that I have my own full time job, so this is really to take your place as a day worker as well. I will of course walk in the morning, evenings, and night and stay over with them. What are their regular schedules (sleep, food, potty, play, etc). This is so I can best meet their needs and have them cared for as close to the way they are usually cared for while you are away. I know schedule and routines are good for dogs. Also, what their general desires are (i.e. sleep in my bed, cuddle, how they like to play, what their body language means). Again, so I can meet their needs the best.
