My husband and I have owned dogs our entire lives. Growing up, I owned smaller family dogs (Lhasa Apso, beagle, dachshund), while my husband’s family owned larger breeds (labs, Saint Bernards, mastiff). We currently own two golden retrievers and are SO picky about where they stay when we are away, so we 100% get the importance of finding a loving environment when you can’t be there! One of our dogs is also more anxious, and we’ve experienced the puppy stage twice, so we have experience understanding many different behaviors, personalities, and needs. All dogs here will be treated as our own! Meals will be done separately, toys will be closely monitored for guarding, and playtime would always be supervised. We have a large fenced in yard which allows for easy playtime access and potty time whenever necessary. :) My husband works from home full-time and I work from home 3 days a week, so there will always be someone at home to care for your pets! If we do go out, we never leave for more than a few hours at a time and we have security cameras monitoring the house. Our dogs are not crated when we leave, but we can crate yours if that is the preference! We are very flexible and open to whatever works for your dogs. If they have a crate they love, that’s awesome. If not, they are free to sleep in bed with us, on the couch, or wherever works!
