Pet care experience
Greeting! I have worked for Petsmart for 4 years, as well as being a Rover sitter for about 3 years now. In addition, my family has always owned a dog. You could say that I am quite the animal lover! I prefer larger breeds, but small breeds work for me too. I have dealt with dogs of my own that were shelter dogs that had special needs, such as separation anxiety and food allergies. I also enjoy cats and other animals too! I live currently in the NE Portland area and I now work full time Monday- Friday 8-5. So, I may not be a good fit for all dog watching needs. Please keep this in mind when looking to book with me, especially those who I have dog sat in the past.

Miranda was great! She kept us informed the whole week we were gone and was really quick at texting back and answering any questions we had. Our animals seemed happy when we returned home and she left our house clean and tidy. We would definitely use Miranda again!
I greatly appreciated Miranda's care of our cats and our home. She stayed in communication, sharing photos and keeping us informed. She took care of our cats, our home, plants, outdoor bird feeders and garden plants. Miranda was considerate and caring. She left us packets of her cats favorite foods for us to try. I returned to happy cats and a clean home.

Miranda always does an excellent job pet sitting with Nala. I came home and the house is clean, and Nala seems so happy. I'm very grateful for the love and attention she give to my dog and my home. I highly recommend her!

I don’t have any breed preferences. Generally, I like to know about and food restrictions, medications, animal relationships, how often they need to be let out, daily routine, and little quirks.
A typical day
I have had many different types of dogs in my life including very lazy dogs that just want to cuddle all day to my current puppy that wants to chase the ball all the time. I like to take dogs on walks, but I know that not all dogs have the ability to. I am more relaxed and laid back, but do like to pay special attention to each animal that I am watching. When on walks I generally can do about a mile in a half hour depending on how often the dog stops.
