Animal Care Taker
Pet care experience
I am certified pet groomer, and have serviced previous clients here on Rover. Pets of all shapes and sizes hold a special place in my heart, from wild energetic puppies and senior dogs, those with disabilities or health issues, unpredictable cats and kittens, to reptiles and fish. I have a big heart for helping provide the most above and beyond care service for any animal I see. I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs since I was basically old enough to know how to feed and water them. I’ve helped friends with their dogs, such as bathing and walking them. I’m very comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes; I’m also comfortable looking after cats.
Reviews
Miranda was awesome! My dogs loved her and I felt confident that they were in good hands while I was gone. She sent updates and spent plenty of time with them. I will definitely be booking her again.

I love with my husband, but at my parents home we have two pitbull mixes and one small senior dog. They have a large backyard to run around in, and get fed twice a day with a big water bowl that we refill throughout the day. They’re all super spoiled, so they leave the music channel on classical music so there’s some noise in the house so they don’t feel alone. The air is always on in the home, but in the summer time they leave on a table side fan for extra comfort. At my apartment I have a cat, and he’s the most spoiled fur baby you’ll ever meet. He gets fed twice a day with a catit cat fountain for constant water flow. He gets fed true source white fish and potato fry food with tiki cat wet food mixed in for extra hydration. I’m the afternoon and at night I rip of a Stella and chewy freeze dried salmon and cod treat for him; I don’t like offering him food and treats with fillers and by products or tons of dyes. He has loads of toys; so much so that he has his own toy box. I makes sure to take at least an hour to an hour and half everyday to play with him, and I spend so much time with him. At night he sleeps with us in bed and snuggles between me and my husband, with endless amounts of belly rubs and massages. For my clients I follow all directions that you leave for me. I make it simple by requesting that the instructions be left on a piece notebook or printer paper, that way I always have a reference. I provide the option to meet face to face first as a first consultation so I can meet the client and they can meet me as well. I’m open to answer any and all questions that you may have with full transparency. The first consultation also provides me an opportunity to meet your pet and get a feel for how they are. If your pet has medications or specific needs that have to be met, we can discuss that in further detail so I know exactly what to do. I have a big heart for all animals, so I want to provide the highest quality pet and owner service I can while in your home.
Information Miranda H. would like to know about your pet
I’m open to all breeds and ages. The questions I will ask are the following: 1.) is your dog a runner (will they get out if the front door opens) 2.) Do they take any medications? If so, please communicate that and leave a written list of all medications and specified times to take them. 3.) Are they aggressive with the other dogs in your home? (Do I need to look out for any signs of aggression). 4.) If your yard is fenced in does it have any weak spots where your dog can wiggle through, jump over, or break down. 5.) Do you have any specific area you want them to blocked off in, or just let them loose in the house while I’m gone? (Living room, dining room, mud room, etc.) I hope these questions can give a peace of mind when I ask them, because I know how important our fur babies are. If it makes you feel more at peace, you can always write down specific care instructions and leave them for me.
A typical day
I am more than happy to take your dog on a walk through your neighborhood/dog walking area/ or to the thread as long as you are comfortable with that. I always purchase a new toy and bag of treats for each new client I serve. I will provide plenty of belly and head scratched for dogs and cats, and make sure to spend quality time with them so they don’t get lonely throughout the day.
